Amazing stairway in this Los Angeles home. “Part of what this house is about is compression and expansion,” says interior design Gary Hutton. “When you come in, the entry is not grand, but then the world explodes in front of you.”
“I always thought it was a really interesting space in that it’s an ‘only in Los Angeles’ kind of place,” says Hutton. In the dining room, the Keith Tyson painting Studio Wall Drawing: Domestic Pairs—Lamps adds a necessary pop of color to an achromatic room.
